I’m Amy Recinos, owner of Amy’s Creative Cakes. I find real joy in helping others, personally and professionally. I come from a family of scratch bakers including my grandmother and mother.
I’m a mother of two. I have one son Austin and one daughter Mya.
I love helping couples with their big day. I enjoy being part of their special memories and experience with cake! I am a graduate of DeSales University and a cake decorating teacher, teaching thousands of students the art of cake. And I continue my education in the baking and culinary arts. I am a student of wedding traditions of all cultures. I study the color, design, and focus in on the details. This greatly informs my cake design approach.
As a foodie, I love to cook as well as bake. However, I have a no cooking Rule on Fridays. OK, most of the weekend! Servicing the wedding industry gives me an excuse to dine out after the cakes are delivered.
