Lu Minier was born in NYC after his family moved to America from the Dominican Republic. His love and appreciation for music started as a child, with the radio always playing in his home and at family gatherings.
Fast forward to 2004, when he hit the scene as a DJ. His ability to adapt to any crowd and excite the room started in the Manhattan house party scene. He honed his DJ skills in the New York City’s top night clubs and college bars. Mostly playing Hip-hop, reggae, EDM, rock, freestyle, Merengue, bachata, salsa, house, disco and Motown classics. DJ Linx was invited to be a guest DJ on the Lehigh Valley University’s radio show (WLVR 93.1), on Friday night’s for the summer of 2013 after winning one of the most prestige DJ battles in NYC, and now he is one of the most highly acclaimed DJ’s in the Lehigh Valley.
